Fairgoers can enjoy a Sensory-Friendly Morning, where there will be adjustments made across the fairgrounds to better accommodate those with sensory-related concerns. In addition, fairgoers will be able to enjoy all the fun of the Midway without the usual lights and sounds from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Please note that the usual lights and sounds of the Midway will return at 1:00 p.m. There are also a few locations around the grounds designated as “Quiet Zones” where families can go throughout their visit should they need to depressurize.
The Fair welcomes individuals with autism, their families, and anyone else who may benefit from a sensory-friendly experience to come out and enjoy Ocotillo Hours-A Sensory-Friendly Fair Experience. See you at the Fair!
During Ocotillo Hours, lights and sounds on the midway will be reduced or eliminated on carnival rides and in the vendor areas.
Preferential parking spots will be reserved closer to the entrance. Please request your parking pass prior to the fair by emailing our office.
Quiet spaces will be designated onsite to allow for decompression and rest.
A special livestock display area will be available to allow for interaction with the animals in a less overwhelming way.
Learning about agriculture can be fun and interactive with our farm display area.
Prepare for your visit with these resources.
